Tammy Sandel Member since 2002 Occupation:
This former marketing professional earned degrees from Texas A&M and Northwestern. In addition to corporate and university employment, she’s worked as a truck stop fuel attendant, pizza waitress, door-to-door stationery salesman, dog trainer, pub maid, life drawing model, and dance instructor. She once sold a blueberry pie for $900. And she co-starred in a TV commercial with a rubber duck. Born and raised in the land of large hair, fire ants, and superb enchiladas, Tammy found her way from Texas to West Lafayette via Scotland and Chicago. She counts among her greatest blessings her family (one husband, two boys, a few animals, and her own sweet mama) and regular sightings of Indiana’s birds of prey. What else? Tammy says, “I believe in the power of God, coffee, mascara, and laughter. I love improv because the people are smart and generous and the scenes mimic life: there’s not much time to prepare; where you start is never where you end up; you’re bound to fail occasionally so you might as well do it big; and the best stuff always happens when you define your character, trust each other, and have some fun.” |
