Mark grew up in Wisconsin and came into contact with improv for the first time in the hotbed of comedy known as Madison, Wisconsin. From there he got formal training and then organized school and church improv groups until he moved to Lafayette, Indiana and fell in with One Size Fits All.

He lives with his inner turmoil and two cats, one of whom is a jerk.
